Objectives
As the project title reveals, the project addressed the
promotion of LCA methodology in Spain. With this purpose, existing information
from other European countries was compiled and an appropriate methodology
for the application of LCA in Spain was developed.
The dissemination and promotion activities included active
participation in different congresses, conferences and workshop
organisation, along with the publication of different articles and books.

Objectives
This R+D project developed software that analysed environmental
issues in the design process of a new product. The software is based
on Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) methodology, taking into account the environmental
burdens of a product from raw material extraction to disposal.
